Academics

The academic strand focuses on instruction and student performance in core content areas, using data such as screeners, formative assessment, and summative evaluations to identify needs and monitor progress.

Behavior

The behavior strand recognizes that behavior is a form of communication and uses data such as attendance and discipline to understand student needs while guiding proactive, tiered supports.

Wellbeing

The wellbeing strand addresses the overall health and conditions that impact learning, including basic needs, safety, physical health, and mental health, all of which contribute to a positive school climate and student success.

Together, these three strands work within the GaMTSS framework to ensure a coordinated, whole-child approach to support.
